Packers fans prepare for the team’s final preseason game and first home game of the season

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – In less than 24 hours, the Packers will face the Baltimore Ravens.

For some, the first home game is a tradition that has been around for generations, and for others, it’s the first time they’ve come to Lambeau Field for a game.

“When I was about 10 years old, I became a Brett Farve fan. I’ve been a Packers fan ever since and I made my whole family Packers fans. And here we are,” said Oscar Vazquez, a Packers fan from Fontana, Calif. “I’m excited about Jordan Love. You know, we were all skeptical at first, but since last season we’re like, man, I think he’s definitely the right guy for us.”

The game starts at 12pm on Saturday, parking lots open at 8am and gates at 10am.

A few pregame reminders from the Packers: No bags or purses are allowed in Lambeau Field unless they are clear and no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches. All fans must go through metal detectors and there will be no exit/re-entry for games at noon.

The Packers also remind fans that no cash will be used at Lambeau Field. There will be a station in the atrium where cash can be converted to cards.
