It can be difficult to film yourself in a public place without interruptions, but sometimes those moments end up being the best parts of the video. A young content creator had the sweetest encounter with an older woman at a thrift store, and it all started with her trying to get some shots! Lauren Blackborow often posts shopping vlogs on social media so she can show off her cute finds. This time, however, another shopper accidentally walked into the frame.
When the older woman stepped in front of the camera, the first thing she noticed was Lauren’s phone attached to a mirror in the thrift store. She was fascinated by how the young shopper was filming herself without having to hold the camera.
“Oh, that’s a good idea,” she said. “How did you do that?”
Lauren explained that there were suction cups on the back of her phone case that allowed her to film hands-free. She told the elderly lady at the thrift store that she had purchased the item, an Octobuddy, online. This lady seemed excited about the phone accessory and thanked the content creator for the product name.
“That saved my night,” Lauren said as soon as the other person left.
What a wonderful encounter!
This adorable video garnered 8 million views on social media! Commenters absolutely loved the healthy, intergenerational interaction between the two women at the thrift store.
