Azie on Main closes after 15 years of service in Villanova.

Azie on Main, a popular Main Line Asian restaurant in Villanova, is closing on Sept. 22 after the landlord decided to convert the restaurant space into offices, writes Emma Dooling for Philadelphia Business Journal.

Restaurant owner and hotel group Win Hospitality is exploring options to relocate the restaurant, which is currently located at 789 E. Lancaster Ave. in the Villanova Center.

“The memories we’ve created, the meals we’ve shared, and the lasting friendships we’ve made mean everything to our team,” the post reads. “We’re proud of what we’ve built and thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives.”

There are two Azie on Main restaurants. The Villanova location opened in 2009. The original restaurant is in Media Borough.

Open for lunch and dinner, and also offering a Sunday brunch, Villanova Restaurant serves soups, salads, noodle and rice dishes, and a variety of main courses, including scallops and salmon teriyaki.

Win Hospitality operates four other Asian fusion restaurants in the Greater Philadelphia area: Blue Elephant in Wayne and Pottstown, Teikoku in Newtown Square and Mikado Thai Pepper in Ardmore.

A seventh restaurant will open next year, the French-Vietnamese concept Maison Lotus at 175 Lancaster Ave. in Wayne.
