(Epitaph) Fresh off a month-long co-headlining tour of the US, Orlando band Magnolia Park ushers in a new era with their electrifying hit “The Void.” The song is accompanied by a haunting music video directed by Orie McGinness and inspired by the legendary horror and thriller films of the past.

The new track focuses on a sound that channels the intensity of nu metal, hip-hop and hard rock, and its dark lyrics describe the constant battle against falling into the “void” of depression and the cycle of isolation.

Fueled by their love of the supernatural and the macabre, guitarists Tristan Torres and Freddie Criales took an acoustic guitar to Devils Den: a cold, dark, haunted cave in Williston, Florida. Influenced by the menacing energy felt in its depths, they co-wrote the demo that would become “The Void.”

Featuring booming drums, aggressive distortion, and Joshua Roberts’ hypnotic vocals, the song and accompanying music video are manifestations of the “twisted inner workings that the mind can lead you into.”
