Win a Farmine Land Whitelist Pass for the NFT Land Sale starting August 29th

Win a Farmine Land Whitelist Pass for the NFT Land Sale starting August 29th

Immutable-powered 2D open-world MMORPG Farmine Land is hosting an NFT land sale on Thursday, August 29th at 14:00 UTC and you have a chance to participate by winning a Whitelist Pass while supplies last!

Details on NFT sales structure and participation

The sale will take place on a dedicated page of the game’s official website, linked in a recent X announcement, and will give eligible users the opportunity to purchase up to 2 Lands per wallet using USDT on the Polygon network. There are only 594 Lands up for grabs in this sale across 2 or possibly 3 rounds: OG, Whitelist, and Public.

There will be 3 different rarity levels of land to grab: Small (100 USDT), Medium (230 USDT), and Large (500 USDT). You can choose which one you want to buy as long as there is still supply for that rarity. In total, 270 small lands will be available to mint, with the supply for medium rarity being 216 NFTs, while only 108 large lands will be available. While you can choose the rarity during the sale, you won’t know what your land actually looks like until after the sale when you can open the minted chest. This means that the supply is actually further divided by biomes, of which there are 3, but you won’t know what biome your land is until after the sale when you open your chest.

OG round

The OG phase is a guaranteed round for early backers, so anyone lucky enough to be among the 100 wallets handpicked by the team can purchase up to 2 NFTs at a 10% discount without worrying about running out of the entire supply. However, the supply of Large Lands could theoretically run out if enough wallets purchase 2 Large Lands instead of just one.

Whitelist round

If you missed out on participating in the 6-hour round of the original, at least at the time of writing you still have a chance to participate in the 24-hour FCFS Whitelist Round. To do so, simply head to the quest page and complete 5 social tasks, 3 of which are for X and 2 for Discord. If you do this successfully, you can claim the Whitelist Round Pass on Polygon, which will secure you a spot for the second round of this NFT sale. This Whitelist Round Pass is only available in limited quantities and will therefore be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. At the time of writing, there are only 185 Whitelist Round Passes left.

As for the whitelist round itself, according to the official wiki, there are already over 3000 wallets with a secured whitelist spot as there have been several whitelist campaigns so far. This means that this sale could end very quickly in this second round. If there is any remaining stock after 24 hours, the sale will move to the public round to give everyone a chance to become a landowner.

NFT Land Utility

Aside from being available in very limited supply, anyone who mints a chest with a random NFT land will be able to reveal their plot after the sale ends by opening the minted chest in the “My Lands NFT” section on the game’s official website. Then you can find out which of the 3 biomes your land belongs to. Your land will belong to either the Winter, Tropical or Desert biome.

In Farmine Land, NFT lands are designed to generate more than 80% of the game’s total resource production, making them a significant part of the game that players must maintain and upkeep. Their size, as mentioned, depends on the rarity and their size affects the number of slots the land has. However, all lands have the same resources, meaning they all have the same 4 types of slots: crop slots, plant slots, mining slots, and livestock slots. However, production is said to vary depending on the rarity.

Plot size Harvest Slots Plant slots Mining Slots Livestock areas Boat size
Small 10 6 13 9 Together
medium 15 24 18 18 Together
Large 40 32 28 32 Large

Each plot of land also comes with an NPC that gives out land-related tasks. While you have the option to rent your land to other players, landowners can also earn from the fees generated by players with a LandHelper Pass. Owning a LandHelper Pass is required for players who want to access land NFTs owned by other players. This also means that LandHelpers get access to exclusive resources reserved only for them. Becoming a LandHelper also allows you to complete daily tasks that NPCs on those lands give you to help manage the land. The rarer the land, the more LandHelpers it can have, allowing for collaborative gameplay that rewards both landowners and LandHelpers, as the resources LandHelpers receive can apparently be traded with an in-game currency called Farmine Coin, which can eventually be exchanged for USDT or USDC. Free-to-play players may also have a chance to obtain items and resources needed to maintain land NFTs.

This is all the NFT Land utility that appears to have been revealed at the time of writing. The official wiki page suggests that new features are being developed, so we may see more use cases in the future. According to the roadmap, you can look forward to Farmine Land officially launching in late September this year.
