Taiwanese fruit tea shop chain opens new location in Sacramento area. What’s on the menu?

A popular California chain of Taiwanese-style fruit tea shops has just opened a new location in the Sacramento area.

Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea, which also serves tea lattes and boba tea, launched its soft opening Friday at 8460 Elk Grove Blvd., Suite 300 in Elk Grove.

According to an Instagram post, the location is the chain’s “easternmost” location in Northern California.

“We look forward to having everyone at our grand opening when the time comes!” said a post from the boba shop.

Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea will be open for a limited time before its official opening date, store representative David Chan said Monday morning. Until then, it will have a limited menu.

“We are still working on the exact opening date because we want to make sure our team is fully prepared to provide our guests with the best boba experience possible by using fresh ingredients, providing friendly service – the whole package!” said Chan.

What is Yi Fang Tawain Fruit Tea?

According to its website, Yi Fang is known for its old-fashioned premium Taiwanese tea.

The chain has stores throughout California, including several stores in San Francisco, Berkeley and Fremont. There are also branches in Los Angeles, Pasadena and Irvine.

According to the company’s website, Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea is named after the owner’s grandmother, Yi Fang.

The Fang family has been growing pineapples for three generations, according to the website.

“Grandma had an epiphany and stewed the overripe golden pineapples into long-lasting homemade jam,” the owner said on the Yi Fang website. “Our most sought-after drink, Yifang fruit tea, has not only inherited Grandma’s name, but also her secret recipe.”

What’s on the menu?

The drinks at Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea are made with “homemade organic cane sugar, fresh seasonal fruits and natural ingredients,” according to the company.

Fruit tea flavors include pineapple, passion fruit, lychee, peach and strawberry.

There are also milk tea lattes and seasonal drinks.

You can choose different toppings for your tea, including boba, sago or jelly.

What are the hours of operation of the new tea shop in Elk Grove?

During the soft opening period, Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
