SALISBURY – The Livingstone College Blue Bears will play seven of their 10 games at home this season.

Livingstone begins with three non-conference home games, opening on August 31 against the University of Charleston, traveling from West Virginia.

“I am very excited to begin our 2024 football season,” said head coach Sean Gilbert. “We begin the season against the University of Charleston, ranked 23rd nationally. Facing a highly ranked opponent is a valuable opportunity to assess our growth and set expectations for the upcoming season.”

The second game will be on September 7th against Virginia University of Lynchburg. The third game will be on September 14th against Allen University.

The Blue Bears will then play on the road against two CIAA opponents – Bowie State University in Maryland on September 21 and Lincoln University in Pennsylvania on September 28.

The second half of the schedule includes three consecutive home games, beginning with a home game against Elizabeth City on October 5.

Livingstone will host Fayetteville State for homecoming on October 12.

On October 19, the Blue Bears will face Winston-Salem State.

Livingstone will travel to Shaw University on November 2nd.

The final home game on Senior Day will be the Commemorative Classic against rival Johnson C. Smith on November 9th.
