What started as a fun business idea in 1996 eventually grew into a 90-acre winery that sells over 75,000 cases annually and welcomes 1,500 visitors each weekend. Wilson Creek Winery has been named Gold Business of the Year four times by the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce and produces wines that have won awards in 20 of the last 23 years. The 11 awards to date in 2024 include Gold awards at the Houston Rodeo for Wilson Creek’s Peach Bellini Sparkling Wine and its Almond Sparkling Wine. Visitors enjoy wine tastings in the main tasting room as well as the library, where seated wine tastings are offered with appetizers on charcuterie platters. The exclusive Upper Room is for wine club members. Visitors who work up an appetite while sampling Wilson Creek’s offerings or taking a winery tour can refuel at the Creekside Grille Restaurant or the Courtyard Bar and Grill. The winery hosts weddings and other events, catering for parties of 40 to 300 people. Other special events include wine tastings in the private bar, wine and food pairing events, and various team-building events, including a grape stomping and sangria-making contest.
