In an email to his team, Fischer said, “After 21 years at Apple, I have made the decision to leave our incredible company.” He also noted that the restructuring was the right time to hand the reins to two exceptional leaders on his team.

Apple’s expansion in India

Apple is preparing to open its fourth iPhone assembly unit in India. The new plant, which will be Tata Electronicsis located in Hosur, Tamil Nadu and is scheduled to start operations in November. It will be Tata’s second iPhone assembly plant in the country.
