August 25, 2024 – National Park Service officials say come to our birthday party on Sunday, August 25th!

The National Park Service was established on August 25, 1916, to “preserve intact the natural and cultural resources and values ​​of the National Park System for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations.”

Over the course of more than a century, we have grown to over 400 national parks and many programs that reach communities across the country – and even the world!
