The average price of a gallon of gasoline in San Luis Obispo County fell seven cents to $4.84 last month, while electricity prices remained unchanged, according to AAA figures.
In California, the average price per gallon of gasoline fell one cent to $4.60 last week. Nationwide, gasoline prices fell six cents to $3.38 per gallon.
“The national average price for a gallon of gasoline has fallen six cents since last week, to $3.38, and last reached a price on March 6,” AAA said. “The national average price for Tier 2 commercial electricity has now remained stable for a month” and is at 34 cents per kilowatt of electricity at commercial charging stations.
SLO County currently has the 14th highest gas price list in the state. Mono County, which has the highest average price, has $5.92 per gallon of regular gasoline this week. Yuba County has the lowest average prices at $4.29 per gallon.
