American singer Madison Beer pays a month’s rent for the Aljunied nail salon

American singer Madison Beer pays a month’s rent for the Aljunied nail salon

Wah began by explaining the situation, describing that she was facing “financial constraints” because the salon, formerly known as Toto Nail Studio, had just moved to a larger studio and she had been abandoned by a previous business partner who had not honored the original agreement.

She reported that she lost S$20,000 and had to work 12-hour shifts to recoup the amount.

In her caption, Wah shared that she was considering moving back to a smaller studio and starting over when “luck was on her side” and Madison Beer contacted her via direct message (DM) on Instagram, asking Wah to work on her nails.

The singer wrote that she had a performance later that evening – she performed at the Singapore Expo on August 22 – and that her nails “broke off and fell apart.”

Wah described the singer as “genuinely so nice, so friendly” and called the experience “surreal and amazing.” She also said that she and Beer chatted a lot.

Beer, who was also spotted at the Queensway Shopping Centre before her concert, had given the nail salon a shout-out on her Instagram account, which Wah said helped her business.

The singer apparently returned to Wah’s studio for a second time, where Wah discussed the company’s financial problems when the topic of inflation came up.

The salon owner then posted a screenshot of a bank transfer for S$3,460 for “Nails and Shop Rent,” explaining that Beer generously got her agency to send Wah the money without even telling her. “Also covered your rent for the month. Let me know you got it. Love you and thanks again for everything,” the singer wrote in the direct message.

In another screenshot of their conversation, Wah tried to return the money, but Beer refused.

Commenters under Wah’s post called the singer “sweet,” “an angel,” and “a beautiful human being inside and out.”
