In addition to the Back to School EV sale, Segway is also offering discounts on its Cube power station series – for you whose kids are out of the house and for late summer/fall campers. You can find the Cube 1000 portable power station below at $799.99 ready to ship. It normally retails for $1,000 most days, but we recently saw it drop to its new low of $500 during Amazon’s Prime Day event last month, and then rise to its previous low of $600 on day two. Today, it comes here with a solid $300 discount, landing it at the fourth-lowest price we’ve tracked. You also have the option to get the Cube 1000 along with Segway’s GT2 SuperScooter for $3,100previously $5,000.
The Cube 1000 offers a 1,024Wh LiFePO4 battery capacity, which you can expand up to 5,120Wh with four BTX-1000 expansion batteries (sold separately). You have 12 different port options to cover your charging/power needs – four USB-A, three AC, two USB-C, two DC and a carport – with the unit capable of delivering up to 2,200W output power (4,400W peak). When plugged into a standard wall socket, it can be fully recharged in just 1.2 hours. It also has an 800W solar input, which lets you take advantage of solar charging too – plus the usual smart controls you’d expect via the Segway Ninebot app with Bluetooth connectivity.
Segway’s Cube 2000 Portable Power Station is available at a reduced price 1,400 US dollarscheaper than the usual price of $1,700. It has a larger capacity of 2,048Wh and has much of the same design and performance specs as the model above, albeit in a larger package. The only notable difference is the fast charging feature, which recharges the battery in 1.8 hours. There are a few more package options here too, with the device bundled with a 200W solar panel for 1,700 US dollarsan extension battery for $2,000or you can get it with solar module and additional battery for $2,300.
