Speakeasy bar and restaurant opens in Owensboro
Callas Tavern and Restaurant is now open in Owensboro, Kentucky.
The speakeasy-style bar and restaurant offers a menu of classic cuisine and modern specialties inspired from around the world. The menu includes Creole red snapper, pan-roasted duck with pear jam, a wide selection of steaks from fillet to flat iron, burgers and more.

Cousins Maine Hummertruck comes to town
The Cousins Maine Lobster Truck will be on Myriad Brewery Downtown location on Saturday, August 31st from 12pm-7pm. Menu includes lobster rolls, seafood chowder, grilled lobster cheese and more.

Evansville Nacho Week
The first Evansville Nacho Week will take place from Sunday, August 25th to Saturday, August 31st. The opening event will take place on August 25th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Main Street Food and Beverage Market with a nacho eating contest. The Evansville Pickle Festival
The The Pickle Festival in Evansville takes place on Saturday, September 7, from 1-7pm in the Main Street Food & Drink Dining hall. Tickets starting at $7.99. More than 20 pickle vendors will be on site. Enjoy live music, vendors, eating contests, a petting zoo, pony rides and more.

Wine pairing dinner at Just Rennie’s
Only Rennie’s Catering and The wine cellar will host a wine pairing dinner on Sunday, September 18, beginning at 6 p.m. Five courses include roasted Brussels sprouts, Toscana soup, crab cakes and shrimp scampi, airline chicken florentine with corn casserole, and Belgian chocolate ganache cake with chocolate truffles.
