Cromwell Media Nashville announces sports network and adds sports channels. | Story

Cromwell Media officially launches The Game Nashville Sports Network today, including flagship brands 102.5/106.3 “The Game” and 94.9 “The Fan,” as well as the brand new Sports Talk 830 AM on WQZQ, according to a press release.

Among the changes is ESPN returning to full-time programming on 94.9 The Fan, while VSiN, Dan Patrick, Colin Cowherd and Doug Gottlieb will host Sports Talk 830 AM.

“Cromwell Media has established itself as a major player in local sports talk with 102.5/106.3 The Game,” said Chase McCabe, Director of Operations and Sports Programming. “We’re continuing to expand our national coverage with a renewed partnership with ESPN on 94.9 The Fan and continue to deliver great sports betting coverage alongside icons Dan Patrick and Colin Cowherd on Sports Talk 830 AM. Sports fans don’t have to go far to get the coverage they want.”

General Manager Shawn Fort said, “The Game Nashville Sports Network brings all of our sports coverage under one roof. We’re excited to continue adding more exclusive digital content on Nashville’s most popular sports teams, as well as special offers like discounted event tickets, opportunities to win before you buy, and pre-sale offers for our fans who subscribe to our network online.”

102.5/106.3 The Game remains live and local daily with Robby & Rexrode, Chase & Big Joe, Willy & DMase and Stillman and Company. Cromwell continues to promote local partnerships with the Nashville Predators, Vanderbilt Commodores, MTSU Blue Raiders, Nashville Sounds, Nashville Kats and NASCAR.

Cromwell operates 32 radio stations: 6 in Nashville, 8 in Kentucky and 18 in Illinois.
