Apple has reportedly “finished” filming its iPhone 16 event, which is scheduled to take place on September 10

The iPhone 16 launch event was originally scheduled to take place on September 10, but Apple is expected to announce a number of other products alongside its four flagship models. According to the latest report, the tech giant is working at full speed as filming of the keynote appears to have wrapped up, meaning Apple is more than ready to unveil new devices to the masses.

Promotional images ahead of the iPhone 16 event have leaked, showing major markets preparing for the upcoming launch

The update on the iPhone 16 launch was provided by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. In the latest edition of his newsletter “Power On,” he explained that Apple plans to air the video at the Steve Jobs Theater, a practice the company has followed for many years. The entire presentation will be live-streamed across a variety of channels, and the report also mentioned that the new iPhone 16 models will be officially available for purchase 10 days after the announcement ends, which is on September 20.

“Apple’s September product launches typically take place on the first Tuesday or Wednesday after Labor Day, and it looks like this year will follow the same pattern. The company has finished filming its iPhone 16 launch video and plans to hold an event on its campus on Tuesday, September 10. True to the script of recent years, Apple will air the keynote video in the Steve Jobs Theater and then give attendees a chance to try out the new iPhones and other hardware. Of course, the presentation will also be streamed online. The new iPhones will hit stores 10 days later, starting on Friday, September 20.”

According to previous reports, Apple intends to ramp up production of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, with the Cupertino company’s largest model accounting for the largest volume, suggesting that these two will lead the company’s first 90 million shipments for 2024. Foxconn has also reportedly hired 50,000 additional workers to meet demand, suggesting that the few weeks after launch day will be intense. And while there are still a few weeks left until the iPhone 16 launch, leaked promotional images have been making the rounds, which isn’t surprising, but these reports and leaks suggest that we’re in for a jam-packed keynote.
