Warner Bros. has announced that ticket sales for the Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story Documentary coming to theaters next month.

What is the Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story Documentary about?
The story of Christopher Reeve is an astonishing rise from unknown actor to cult movie star, and his definitive portrayal of Clark Kent/Superman set the standard for the superhero film universes that dominate today’s cinema. Reeve portrayed the Man of Steel in four Superman films and played dozens of other roles that showcased his talent and versatility as an actor before being injured in a near-fatal horseback riding accident in 1995 that left him paralyzed from the neck down.
After suffering from quadriplegia, he emerged as a charismatic leader and activist in the search for a cure for spinal cord injuries and a passionate advocate for disability rights and care – all while continuing his film career in front of and behind the camera and devoting himself to his beloved family.
The film, from McQueen’s directors Ian Bonhôte and Peter Ettedgui, includes previously unseen private home videos and an extraordinary wealth of personal archive material, as well as the first in-depth interviews ever filmed with Reeves’ three children about their father, as well as interviews with the Hollywood A-list actors who were Reeves’ colleagues and friends. The film is a moving and vivid cinematic telling of Reeves’ remarkable story.
Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story is produced by Passion Pictures (Searching For Sugar Man, The Territory) and Misfits Entertainment (McQueen, Rising Phoenix).
New York-based production studio Words + Pictures financed and produced the film. Words+Pictures, founded in 2021 by Connor Schell, is led by the creators and producers of the 30 for 30 series, the Emmy-winning The Last Dance and the 2017 Oscar-winning OJ: Made in America. The film is a presentation of DC Studios, HBO Documentary Films, CNN Films and Words+Pictures.
