Ubisoft’s upcoming rogue simulator Star Wars Outlaws could see solid pre-order numbers on PS5, updated PlayStation Store data shows.

Star Wars Outlaws seems to be doing well on the PS Store. A quick look at the best-selling games on Sony’s digital store shows that Ubisoft’s third-person Star Wars game is in the top 10 of the list at number 9, with mega-hits like NBA 2K25, GTA V, and Roblox a few spots ahead.
This bodes well for potentially strong pre-orders for Star Wars Outlaws, at least in its current position on the charts. It is also interesting to note that reviews for the game have been declining recently, leaving Outlaws a 77 reviews on Metacritic with generally positive reviews.
We were unable to find any data for Star Wars Outlaws in the Xbox Store top lists, and it’s possible that pre-orders are actually not included in Xbox’s best-seller charts.
And of course, according to existing contracts, Star Wars Outlaws will not be sold on Steam.
Instead, Ubisoft sells the space simulation on its First-party Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store.
Ubisoft will provide details on Star Wars Outlaws sales in its second-quarter earnings call, but from the outset, the game is looking positive in terms of PlayStation 5 pre-orders. Exact sales and numbers are currently unknown, and concrete information may not be available until weeks after release.
Star Wars Outlaws will be available soon on August 30, 2024 for $69.99 on all platforms.
