Photos: Portland’s Waterfront Park transforms into a skate park this weekend for the Rockstar Energy Open

Pro skaters, Olympians and amateurs brought their decks to downtown Portland for the first three-day Rockstar Energy Open Skateboarding competition.

The free event begins Friday and runs through Sunday and will showcase the skills of Parisian gold medalist Keegan Palmer and silver medalist Tom Schaar, as well as top-ranked American skateboarders Bryce Wettstein and Mariah Dunn and locals Sebo Walker of Salem and Alex Lobasyuk of Portland.
