BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – The remnants of Tropical Storm Debby are moving out of the Downeast areas Saturday morning, leaving clear skies across Maine this afternoon. Highs will be between 77 and 84 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will remain high throughout the day at 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph, especially along the coast. Dew points will drop dramatically from a muggy 70 degrees Fahrenheit to a comfortable 50 degrees Fahrenheit this evening. Tonight will remain clear with lows between 50 and 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
Sunday will be sunny for everyone. Maximum temperatures will reach 25 degrees on the coast and 27 degrees inland. Windy conditions are expected to continue, with wind speeds between 16 and 24 km/h and gusts up to 40 km/h. Dew points will be around 10 degrees.
Monday will be mostly sunny, with a few afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Precipitation will be less than a tenth of an inch in most cases. Highs will be lower than normal, in the upper 20s in most cases. Dew points will remain comfortable at above 10 degrees.
Tuesday will be predominantly sunny with maximum temperatures between 25 and 27 degrees Celsius. The dew points will reach values between 15 and 16 degrees Celsius.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny. A few showers and thunderstorms may form inland, otherwise clear weather. Maximum temperatures will reach 25 degrees Celsius on the coast and 27 degrees Celsius inland. Dew points on Wednesday will be between 15 and 18 degrees Celsius.
Thursday will be mostly sunny, with some showers and thunderstorms expected. Maximum temperatures will remain stable between 25 and 27 degrees Celsius. Dew points will rise to around 18 degrees Celsius.
SATURDAY: Showers in the Downeast this morning, clearing in the afternoon. Otherwise, clear skies all day. Highs will be between 25 and 29 degrees. Dew points will drop from 21 to 10 degrees this evening. Wind gusts will remain high, reaching up to 30 mph.
SUNDAY: Sunny skies with gusty weather. Maximum temperatures between 25 and 27 degrees. Dew points pleasant at 10 degrees. Gusts up to 40 km/h.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny. Rain showers and thunderstorms expected in the afternoon. Maximum temperatures in most areas around 24 °C. Dew points will remain above 10 °C.
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny. Maximum temperatures between 25 and 27 degrees. Dew points rise to 13 to 16 degrees.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny. Showers and thunderstorms possible inland in the afternoon. Maximum temperatures between 25 and 27 degrees. Dew point temperatures between 15 and 18 degrees.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny. Chance of rain and thunderstorms. Maximum temperatures between 25 and 27 degrees. Dew point temperatures around 18 degrees.
