Armie Hammer speaks openly about his financial problems. In his comeback on Instagram in a new video, the 38-year-old revealed that he cannot afford to refuel his truck and has to sell it.
“Since I’ve been back in LA, I’ve put about $400-$500 worth of gas in my truck, and I can’t afford it,” he explained in the video he shared on Tuesday, August 27. “I bought it for myself as a Christmas present in 2017. I really loved that truck and … took it on road trips, and I took it to Carmax for one last road trip. This is because I’m selling my truck. I’ve put about $400-$500 worth of gas in it, and I can’t afford it.”
Although he is parting with his truck, Hammer stressed that he bought a “tiny” new car, adding, “I’ll probably spend $10 a month on gas on it.”
The Lone Ranger The actor’s revelation comes two months after he met with Piers Morgan in a sensational interview in which he discussed his 2021 cannibalism scandal and past relationships.
“You know what you have to do to be a cannibal? You have to have actually eaten somebody,” Hammer said, denying that he was a cannibal. “By the way, that’s not a question I ever thought I’d have to answer. But no, never.”
While reflecting on his previous marriage with his ex-wife Elisabeth KammersHammer admitted he was unfaithful. The ex-spouses were married from 2010 to 2023. She filed for divorce from him in 2020.
“I cheated on my wife. I used people to make myself feel better,” said the Social network The actor confessed: “I was callous and inconsiderate of people, their feelings and their well-being. … And that is shitty behavior.”
When Morgan Hammer asked how many people he had cheated with, the actor replied that it was “probably more than the average person sees,” adding, “I wouldn’t say many hundreds. No, you know, I would say enough.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Hammer spoke about his sexual assault investigation in 2021. At the time, his former girlfriend Effie Angelova accused him of raping her in 2017, which he denied. During the conversation with Morgan, Hammer described his previous relationship with Angelova as “a very intense affair, very sexually charged, between two people with very similar inclinations and preferences.”
“When you take all of these conversations that we had within this relationship out of that context and bring them out into the light of day, it doesn’t look so good anymore,” Hammer said. “You know, different people have different sexual fantasies. And there is a very broad spectrum of sexuality, and people are allowed to live out their own sexuality in a way that suits them and their actions.”
