Owner of ice cream parlor “Below Zero” wanted by police

The 35-year-old owner of an ice cream parlor in Montgomery County, New York, is wanted by local police on several charges, including visiting a prostitute and endangering the welfare of a child.

According to sources, police are looking for 35-year-old Daniel Steven Garrow in connection with promoting prostitution and endangering the welfare of a child. Montgomery County Sheriff’s officials did not release many details of the investigation because the victim was a minor.

“Sheriff Smith says they’re not going to give up and they’re going to find him somehow. He says the victims deserve that respect and have to persevere.” News 10 ABC

Sheriff Jeffrey Smith told News 10 ABC: “There’s a 16-year-old involved. And you know, I can’t go into detail about it, but I can confirm that that is the reason for the endangerment charge.”

Sheriffs search everywhere

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office posted a wanted poster on their Facebook page and says Garrow could be anywhere.

He works in Montgomery County but has connections throughout the region, including Schenectady, Delanson and Duanesburg, and told the news station, “The case originated in the town of Palatine in Montgomery County. But you know, we’ve heard from the state of Florida, we’ve heard from the country of Italy, we’ve heard from New York City.”

Sources say she owned an ice cream parlor

According to News 10 ABC, the man being sought is the owner of Below Zero Ice Cream in Palatine Bridge, but sheriffs told the news station that they do not believe he poses any specific threat due to his job or profession.
