National trampoline park and active entertainment company Sky Zone is planning a return to the area.

Sky Zone announced that the company is looking for a location to open a center near Langhorne next year.

The company said local residents and pharmacy owners Kinjal and Purvish Patel were behind the plan, which also includes a branch in Chester County.

In February 2020, Sky Zone closed its location on Runway Road in Bristol Township after being open for several years.

A Sky Zone spokesman said the opening would most likely be later next year after a location was secured.

Sky Zone has 270 parks and plans to open eight new locations near New York City, Philadelphia and Chicago, as well as in Virginia and California, over the next year.

“We are excited to continue supporting our multi-location franchisees while welcoming new franchise partners to the Sky Zone family,” said Mike Revak, President of Sky Zone Franchise Group. “We greatly value the skills, determination and commitment of our trusted franchisee network. Together, we are providing more ways for families to stay active and create lasting memories together.”

The company describes its parks and entertainment centers as follows: “Sky Zone offers kids and families the opportunity to run, jump and play on unique and innovative attractions and trampoline parks, making the brand a leader in the active indoor entertainment industry. The parks offer everyday fun and cost-saving memberships for families who want daily access, exclusive discounts and invitations to members-only events while enjoying attractions that kids love. Sky Zone is the ultimate destination for birthday parties, team events, school events and other group celebrations that require no set-up, no clean-up and no catering.”

The company, founded in 2004, claims to have more than 500,000 members.
