JetBlue’s latest sale offers flights to Nashville for and dozens of other discounts for a limited time

As the summer travel season comes to a close, there is a new way for travelers to save on fall vacations.

JetBlue recently announced its “Game On” fare sale, offering flights starting at $49. The promotion is a nod to the fall football season, but the fares can also be an affordable option for early fall vacations or last-minute travel.

JetBlue, for example, is offering a $49 one-way fare from New York’s JFK Airport to Nashville, Tennessee, for travel in September and October. This particular route often costs as much as $314 one-way, making the discounted price a real bargain.

Another example of the discounted fares is the route from Boston, Massachusetts to Orlando, Florida, where single fares can be as low as $169 and the special fare offers $69 for a one-way trip. In the Midwest, travelers can save from Cleveland to Fort Lauderdale for as little as $102, while flights on other dates can cost as much as $706 for a one-way trip.

JetBlue says the discounts must be booked by August 29 and are only valid for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between September 10 and October 30.

Travelers can find the cheapest fares for their routes by using JetBlue’s Best Fare Finder calendar. After entering the desired destination, a calendar view displays all available flights and prices. Changing the departure day can save travelers hundreds on tickets.

The best part: The fares shown include all taxes and fees. The advertised fares belong to the “Blue Basic” fare category, which includes a free piece of hand luggage for flights departing after September 6, 2024.

The airline points out that it is important to book direct to get the lowest prices and other available discounts.

“Customers who book directly through jetblue.com are guaranteed our lowest fares and enjoy additional benefits, including access to all JetBlue fare options and fare sales and promotions, some of which may not be available through other third-party retailers,” the airline says on its booking page.

JetBlue has introduced new routes and improvements for its customers in anticipation of the busy fall and holiday travel season. The airline recently announced an expansion of its Mint business class product from New York and Boston to Bozeman, Montana. JetBlue also recently expanded its service throughout Florida, including new routes to Fort Myers and Fort Lauderdale.
