Disney theme parks recently introduced a new method to reduce waste in their parks. The company is currently conducting new tests that could have a larger impact on the rest of Disney theme parks around the world.

Cleanliness is a cornerstone of the Disney theme park experience, and guests will find trash cans scattered throughout the parks and resorts.

Common myth has it that the original Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, was designed to have a trash can every thirty feet, eliminating virtually all of the trash and garbage that guests would typically see in other parks and public areas.

Not only did this help Disneyland stand out from the crowd, but it also made the parks appear cleaner, healthier and more enjoyable. This has been carried over to all future Disney parks and resorts, with Disneyland Paris Resort recently introducing a new way for guests to dispose of their rubbish.

Officially opened in 1992, Disneyland Paris Resort is Disney’s second international location, following Tokyo Disney Resort. Modeled after the original resort in California, Disneyland Paris will look familiar to fans of Disneyland Park. It features its own version of Main Street USA and a stunning recreation of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.

Walt Disney Studios, the resort’s second park, opened in 2002 and adds to the incredible list of rides and attractions already available at Disneyland Paris.

At Disneyland Paris, guests will find classic dark rides and roller coasters as well as special, unique offers only available at this European resort.

Disneyland Paris is currently undergoing one of the biggest changes in its history. Both the theme parks and the resort’s shopping and dining area, Disney Village, are being modernized.

This also applies to Disneyland Park in Paris, where new trash cans are currently being tested.

According to DisneyphileLIVE, a Twitter/X account specializing in Disneyland Paris news, the resort recently installed new food bins in Town Square to reduce waste in the parks.

Three bins now stand next to each other: one for garbage, one for recycling waste and one specially designed for food waste.

It’s unclear if these new bins are temporary or permanent, but Disneyland Paris wants to reduce the accumulation of trash and waste at the resort. It’s likely that similar bins will appear at other Disney locations, such as Disneyland and Walt Disney World, in the near future.

As mentioned above, Disneyland Paris is currently undergoing significant changes, with Walt Disney Studios Park undergoing the biggest transformation.

Earlier this year, the resort announced that it would completely rebrand and rebrand Walt Disney Studios. The park’s new name, Disney Adventure World, will be used for the first time with the opening of World of Frozen at the park. This massive expansion, based on Disney’s Frozen franchise, is scheduled to open early next year.
