After opening a Reverb shop in 2022 Modest Mouse is once again partnering with the online gear marketplace to part with even more personal pieces.

In the new shop, which opens on September 5, the “Float On” rockers will sell more than 500 items, including various synthesizers, microphones and effects pedals used on albums and tours.

“I went to the music store and just bought everything that interested me,” said frontman Isaac Brock says of his approach to collecting gear. “(I told myself) I could just return it or resell it, but I didn’t. I started to panic that I would be making the same songs if I didn’t have a whole bunch of new equipment and tools to work with.”

“But now my studio has become a maze of shelves full of crap and I’m starting to get option fatigue,” he continues. “So I want less music equipment.”
