When my daughter was born, my husband and I moved to a city because of his work and I didn’t know anyone. I had a newborn and was a housewife, so I felt lonely and isolated during that time. The funny thing is that I found “friendship” through a TV show.
This show was QVC, which stands for quality, value and convenience. QVC was founded in 1986 and my daughter was born in 1987, so the company was still young when I became a fan. I watched the show all day long and felt like I was actually friends with the hosts of the show. I was way too shy to ever call, but I dreamed of picking up the phone and talking to Mary Beth Roe.

I was surprised to learn that Dr. Adrienne Denese was one of the first doctors in the world to specialize in skincare products that help fight the visible signs of aging. She studied at Harvard and Cornell University! I’ve heard great things about her products and will be trying and sharing them this month. From moisturizers to serums, eye care products to sets, her product line has it all. I think this set is one of the best ways to try out the brand! I also love that the brand is part of QVC’s Clean Beauty program too!
Elemis:
Elemis is a well-known brand with high ratings. You’ve probably heard someone talk about their Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm before. Perfect for use during the day and at night, this pro-collagen cream helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while improving skin hydration and firmness. I’ve also heard really good things about their Dynamic Resurfacing Pads.
IT cosmetics:
This is another brand that has really taken off with the help of QVC and is now used by many women. The CC+ Cream Foundation, brow pencils and waterproof eyeshadow pencils are some of the brand’s best sellers. If you already use the brand, I definitely recommend checking to see if any of the products are currently on sale!
Beekman 1802:
I saw this brand at Ulta and was very tempted to try it! They are known for their goat milk hand soaps and hand creams. I could see myself putting these around the house so my hands are always moisturized no matter where I wash them.

NYDJ:
NYDJ, short for “Not Your Daughter’s Jeans,” specializes in making jeans that focus on fit and comfort for women of all ages and shapes. Last year, I shared an in-depth review of some of my favorite styles in this post. But now I’ve got my eye on this denim skirt for fall! It’s trending right now, and I know this one will be comfortable.
PS: Don’t forget to order the jeans one size smaller. They are extremely stretchy and I can imagine them stretching out after a full day of wear.
Breeze:
This is a new brand I discovered a few years ago. I know none of us like wearing a bra so I’m always on the lookout for a good wireless bra. This one is seamless and has soft contour cups so it doesn’t look like you have a single breast!!
Clarks:
If you’re looking for comfortable shoes, Clarks is one of the best brands. These leather sandals are so comfortable and have great arch support. I wear my usual size, but I recommend going up a size if you’re between sizes. The other pair that caught my eye were these boots for fall. They go with everything and are a great price!
Vionics:
It’s no secret that I’ve loved Vionic shoes for years! I even dedicated this post to my favorite Vionic shoes. If you have foot problems, you’ve probably heard of them. They can be a little more expensive, so I’m happy when I find them cheap on QVC.
