This Marvel crossover is wild

Marvel’s new Black Panther was introduced during the comic series’ craziest crossover yet.

In the latest comic book storyline, Earth’s mightiest heroes face off against the Xenomorphs from the Alien series.

Back in the MCU, fans are waiting for the release of Captain America: Brave New Worldthe next big blockbuster in the film universe.

This is the first time the Xenomorphs have appeared in a Marvel story, although DC has featured them in crossovers with Batman and the Justice League. Marvel’s Wolverine has also been hunted by a Predator in the past.

While the new storyline had some wild moments, like Miles Morales being attacked by a facehugger, it also featured some big cast changes, like the introduction of a new Black Panther.

The new Wakandan warrior is none other than T’Challa’s son Azari, who will one day inherit the mantle of Black Panther in his father’s place.

Anyone who only watches the Marvel films will undoubtedly know that Shuri is the new Black Panther for the big screen adaptations after the tragic death of Chadwick Boseman in 2020.

Interestingly, however, at the end of the Black Panther: Wakana Forever T’Challa had a son before his in-universe death, suggesting we might see a different version of the character in future films.

But back to the Alien crossover: Azari accompanies his father on a mission to infiltrate a ship that has released the Xenomorphs on planet Earth.

During the encounter with the Third Kind, Azari takes out two aliens with lightning strikes and suggests that his mother might be that of Storm from the X-Men, as she has had several romances with T’Challa in the past.

It’s a cool crossover story and worth checking out if you’re a fan of either franchise. Since it’s ongoing, you can wait for the next issues.
