A Haitian man took a hammer out of his pocket and went on a rampage to smash the computers at the check-in counters after being told that the American Airlines The ticket he used to get to the airport was fake. A scammer had sold him fake tickets. The incident, which was caught on camera, happened late Monday in Chile at the Nuevo Pudahuel airport in Santiago. He wanted to fly to Florida.
He screamed as he smashed the computers. Authorities said he caused $20,000 in damage. He was eventually arrested by airport security and handed over to police.

His outburst was preceded by a brief argument with an American Airlines employee, who explained to him that he had been cheated and that the ticket he was carrying was not valid.
“During the afternoon, a Haitian citizen who had problems boarding a flight he had purchased discovered that this flight had never been reserved,” said Manuel Narváez, lieutenant of the patrol of the prefecture of western Santiago, according to El Dínamo.
“Local police responded to a disruptive individual in the lobby of Santiago de Chile airport,” American Airlines said in a statement. “We thank our team for their professionalism and apologize to our customers for the inconvenience.”
