Oregon’s first match as a member of the Big Ten did not go as planned. The Ducks were able to defeat Idaho, but a final score of 24-14 was far from what Daniel Lanning in Week 1, even though the statistics at the end of the game showed that it was not as close as the final score suggests.

In Week 2, a game against Boise State could be just what Oregon needs to hone its skills. However, the Ducks will have to watch out for the Broncos’ star running back. Ashton Jeantywho scored six touchdowns in Week 1.

In their first game under Sherron MooreMichigan was able to secure a win in Ann Arbor. It certainly wasn’t a pretty win, but it doesn’t always have to be, as the Wolverines used a 17-point quarter to defeat Fresno State 30-10 in Week 1.

The real question is who will be Michigan’s quarterback in the future. Davis Warren got the lion’s share of snaps about Alex Orji against the Bulldogs, but both will have to be ready and play better to beat Texas in Week 2.

Missouri
