Our listeners did not disappoint us and gave us many great tips for great restaurants.

Below is our list, which might include some of your favorites as well as some great suggestions to try.

My absolute favorite restaurant in the Atlantic City area is Capriccio Italian Restaurant at the Resorts Casino Hotel. Several on-air listeners, including “Craig,” agreed.

Capriccio has it all: ambience, great service, attention to detail and consistently high-quality food and drinks.

Listeners also chose these great restaurants in Atlantic City… “Hell’s Kitchen” for Beef Wellington, “Old Farmstead” for steaks, “Docks Oyster House” for seafood and the legendary ““This is a dream you will never forget.”

“Steve and Cookies from the Bay” in Margate is a real favourite for foodies.

Here’s just one reason: My absolute favorite dish is called “fried seafood.”

These include: lobster, king prawns, giant crab meat and scallops. Simply perfect.

Mike and the others chose another legendary restaurant in Atlantic City, “Cafe 2825.”

Guest listener Andrea chose The Crab Trap in Somers Point, which happens to have my favorite soup in the world.

Here’s a photo of their crab bisque chock full of chunks of crab meat. The taste and texture is just perfect every time.

I’ve also included their fabulous mini crab bites and the best stewed tomatoes you’ll ever eat.
