Puzzle lovers today rushed to Google to find the names of the national parks hidden in today’s NYT Strand issue on “American Beauty.”

According to the National Park Service, there are four national parks in Indiana, some of which are spread across multiple states.

Which national parks are there in Indiana?

This park, an important site of the War of Independence, is located in Vincennes.

According to the National Park Service, the Indiana Dunes stretch along 15 miles of Indiana coast and over 50 miles of hiking trails through sand dunes, forests, prairies and wetlands.

This trail passes through several U.S. states, including Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Ohio, and, according to the National Park Service, follows the routes of the Lewis and Clark expedition in the early 19th century.

While Kentucky can claim the first monument to Abraham Lincoln, according to the NWS, he also spent part of his youth in southern Indiana. This site is located in Lincoln City.
