How Anna Delvey competes in DWTS despite ICE restrictions

Anna Delvey says she’s most nervous about “bad outfits” on “Dancing With the Stars”

Anna Delvey may have just invented a new form of competition Dancing with the stars.

The The invention of Anna The victim – who was convicted of theft after allegedly posing as a German heiress and swindling thousands of dollars from New York’s elite to fund her luxurious lifestyle – has teamed up with the professional dancer Ezra Sosa in season 33 of the ABC dance competition. The network announced her casting on September 4 and touted the debut of the “infamous anklet fashionista” on the September 17 premiere.

And although Anna was recently placed under house arrest in her Manhattan apartment for overstaying her visa, she will still be able to take part in the competition in person, as filming for the upcoming season will take place in Los Angeles.

As she revealed to E! News in an exclusive interview, “I’m waiting for ICE to give me permission to leave the state,” but noted that otherwise travel restrictions remain in place. (For more on Anna, see E! News tonight, September 4th, at 11pm)

But this isn’t Anna’s first foray into reality TV since her release from prison in 2022. Last month, she made a cheeky cameo in a commercial for the USA Network strategic competition series The Anonymous.
