Wondering who might be a pro under the hood? Not sure what “road focused” means? Don’t worry, because I’m here to help you with the answers for today’s question. NYT Mini Crossword puzzle.

The NYT Mini is a quick and easy version of the newspaper’s longer-running crossword. Most days there are between three and five clues in each direction on a 5×5 grid, but the puzzles are sometimes larger, especially on Saturdays.

In contrast to its bigger brother, the NYT Mini Crossword puzzle is free to play on the New York Times Website or NYT Games app. However, you need a NYT Game subscription for access to previous puzzles in the archive.

So that you don’t get stuck and have to look up missing letters, here you will find the NYT Mini Crossword answers for Monday, September 2 (Of course there are spoilers):

It has me 0:29 to complete today’s NYT Mini.

Another quick fix, so I’m glad about that. I got ROBOT, AMORE (thanks to the Dean Martin song), and TRYST on my first run through of the Across clues. These helped me fill in the gaps for all the Down clues.

I thought 2 Down had something to do with the auction before I saw the letters already filled in, and I probably wouldn’t have thought of EBONY otherwise. Plus, I thought 4 Down was a clever clue.
