Belal Muhammad would never leave Conor McGregor out of the starting line-up in the welterweight division: “He looks like he’s coked up”

Muhammad dismisses McGregor

“The guy doesn’t look good right now,” Muhammad told Submission Radio. “He looks like he’s coked up. He looks like he’s on drugs. I mean, if he beats Michael Chandler, I wouldn’t even let him jump the line because like I said, there are guys that work for it. There are guys that have made it this far. And even the last fight, when Colby (Covington) jumped the line for Leon (Edwards), I would never do that because there are guys that work really hard for it. And as far as his legacy goes, obviously I’d love to slap Conor in the face. But yeah, it would be too much not to happen, right?”

“It took him so long to make this fight happen,” Muhammad continued. “It took him so long to make this fight with Chandler happen. So if they even think, ‘oh, Conor is going to fight for the welterweight belt,’ I have to sit here and wait two years. No, that’s not going to happen. I give it to the guys that actually fight, the guys that really put in the work and the guys that deserve it. Conor doesn’t deserve it. I hope he fights Chandler because I feel bad for Chandler that Chandler waited so long for this. So I hope this fight actually happens. But honestly, I don’t think it’s happening.”
