Taylor Swift’s era with the Chiefs continues. The pop star will be at the NFL season opener between Kansas City and the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday to cheer on her boyfriend and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, a source with knowledge of security at Arrowhead Stadium said.

Swift is no stranger to Kelce’s games since the couple went public with their relationship last season. She made her first game-day appearance when the Chiefs hosted the Chicago Bears in Week 3 and became a fixture at games during a break from her Eras Tour last fall. Swift attended the Chiefs’ victory over the Ravens in the AFC Championship Game and then made the long trip from her show in Tokyo to watch the Chiefs win the Super Bowl in Las Vegas.

The 14-time Grammy winner is currently on a two-month break from touring after her European tour concluded in August, meaning she could potentially attend many of Kelce’s early games – including the first five weeks of the season. The tour kicks off in North America in October and runs until its final show on December 8 in Vancouver.

How many Chiefs games will Taylor Swift attend in 2024? What her tour schedule looks like

There are three shows – on October 20, October 27 and December 8 – that fall on the same dates as the Chiefs’ regular season games, although there are four more games in Weeks 9 through 12 that may be difficult for Swift to attend due to her tour dates.

During his busy offseason, Kelce attended several Eras Tour shows around the globe, including a surprise onstage appearance in June at Swift’s show at London’s Wembley Stadium. Kelce brought a small team of trainers with him to each tour stop to continue his offseason training.

In April, Kelce signed a new two-year contract with the Chiefs, making him the highest-paid tight end for the first time in his 11-year career. The deal, which runs through the 2025 season, is expected to pay him $17 million guaranteed this year.

Kelce, who turns 35 in October, told Chiefs coach Andy Reid and general manager Brett Veach before signing his contract extension that he believes he has at least two good years left in his career, according to a team source. That’s consistent with what Kelce said publicly in June after his contract extension, when he said he would play “until the wheels fall off.”
