The National Football League will begin the 2024 season with a special Thursday Night Football kickoff. The Baltimore Ravens and reigning MVP Lamar Jackson will travel to Arrowhead Stadium to face Partick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.
This matchup is highly anticipated after the Kansas City Chiefs invaded M&T Bank Stadium earlier this year to beat the Baltimore Ravens on their home field in the AFC Championship Game. The Chiefs then defeated the San Francisco 49ers in an epic overtime thriller.
The Chiefs defense frustrated Lamar Jackson and the Ravens offense, who entered the AFC Championship Game fired up. The Chiefs’ 17-10 victory was remembered well into the offseason as it became a legacy for both Mahomes and Jackson.
It’s safe to say that the entire football world will be glued to their televisions tonight to watch the next chapter in what is shaping up to be a fantastic rivalry between the two greatest quarterbacks and franchises of all time.
The USC Trojans will be well represented both on the field and on both rosters when the festivities begin. Fun fact: The USC Trojans have the second-most NFL draft picks of all time with 523 selections, according to Statista.
Their 523 draft selections rank second by just two picks, behind Notre Dame’s 525. With the talent the Trojans currently have, it’s entirely possible to reclaim the title of college team with the most draft picks of all time.
Here are the Trojans on both rosters and the players who are likely to have the biggest impact for both teams.
