Fantasy football fans who drafted Mark Andrews didn’t have much to show for it after the first half of the Baltimore Ravens’ game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The star tight end hadn’t caught a single pass in the first 30 minutes of Thursday’s game, a somewhat disappointing start for the seventh-year veteran. He had one attempt and one catch, but it was ultimately nullified due to a penalty.

The unproductive half came about when quarterback Lamar Jackson relied on tight end Isaiah Likely, who caught four passes for 38 yards. Wide receiver Zay Flowers also had 39 yards in the first half.

After Andrews’ first-half disappointment, fantasy football fans have expressed their disappointment with him.

Andrews played in just 10 games last season after injuring his ankle during a hip-drop tackle in November. In his limited action, he rushed for 544 yards and six touchdowns. He returned for the AFC Championship game against the Chiefs, but was only able to gain 15 yards on two receptions.

In his last full season in 2021, Andrews had 1,361 receiving yards and nine touchdowns, and that’s probably the player fantasy managers thought they were getting when they drafted him this year.

However, it’s only the first game of the season, so Andrews still has plenty of time to have a great year and satisfy fantasy football fans.
