Yes, half a day before the attack, the enemy had stationed equipment and military personnel on the platform. There were no civilians there and the platform did not perform its regular function.

The coastal missile and artillery units of the Ukrainian Navy are extremely serious combat aircraft (that is, they would not carry out an attack if it posed a threat to the environment or civilians – editor’s note).”

Details: In the commentary to Ukrainska Pravda, Pletenchuk mentioned that this was “not the first operation of this kind.”

Pletenchuk said the Russians used this platform to disrupt the normal operation of the grain corridor, adding that the decision to attack was made to ensure the safety of civilian shipping.
