Gasoline prices in Florida have risen since last week: Here’s how much

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, gasoline prices in the state rose for the second week in a row, averaging $3.43 per gallon of regular gasoline on Monday, up from the previous week’s price of $3.33 per gallon.

The average fuel price in the state has fallen by about 3 cents since last month. According to the EIA, last year, gasoline prices statewide were as low as $2.81 on December 18, 2023, and as high as $3.76 on August 7, 2023.

A year ago, the average price of gasoline in Florida was $3.76 per gallon, an increase of 9 percent.

The average price of gasoline in the United States last week was $3.45, putting prices in the state about 0.6 percent below the national average. The average national price of gasoline is down from last week’s average of $3.48 per gallon.
