Desmond Howard’s sons shine – College GameDay Michigan appearance

Desmond Howard’s sons shine – College GameDay Michigan appearance

It’s the biggest matchup early in the young 2024 college football season – a top-10 matchup between the Michigan Wolverines and the Texas Longhorns. The game takes place at Michigan Stadium, the Big House, so it’s no surprise that there are two standout pregame shows from Ann Arbor on Saturday morning.

Both Fox’s Big game on Saturday and ESPN’s College Game Day broadcast live from the Michigan campus before kickoff at noon. But only Gameday had access to two specific Michigan students, Desmond Jr. and Dhamir Howard, the sons of Michigan legend and Gameday panelist Desmond Howard.

At the beginning of the program, reporter Jess Sims introduced the Howard twins, also known as Big Twin and Little Twin, in a short report. The boys are currently freshmen and are just beginning their college studies.

Sims asked the boys what it means to be at their father’s alma mater. The twins said they are living in their father’s old dorm this season. Desmond Jr. showed off some recent hairdressing work, shaving the block M for Michigan above his neckline.

On a screen within the screen, father Desmond could be seen showing joy and pride towards the end of the segment as his sons ended their TV time “with something he always says: ‘Go Blue!'”

The stuff legends are made of

This is such a cool full circle moment! It must be special for Desmond Howard to see his sons experiencing the same campus life.

Great kids, @DesmondHoward!
