Did Tom Brady play with Aaron Hernandez?

Yes, Tom Brady played with Hernandez on the Patriots from 2010 to 2012.

After Hernandez was charged with first-degree murder in 2013, coach Bill Belichick banned the Patriots from ever talking about Hernandez again, Dane Fletcher reported in the Globe’s spotlight coverage of the Hernandez story.

According to a CBS News report, Hernandez wrote in a letter while in prison that he felt closest to Brady during his time on the team.

Seven years after his death, several jokes were made at Hernandez’s expense during Brady’s Netflix roast, referencing the former player’s suicide and his killing of Odin Lloyd in 2013.

Shayanna Jenkins, Hernandez’s fiancée, responded to the jokes. She told TMZ that she was disheartened by the taunts and asked people to remember that while the man may be dead, his daughter is alive and can still be hurt by such harsh words.
