US LBM Coaches Poll: Georgia and Clemson on two very different paths
Week 1 of the college football season is over and the US LBM Coaches Poll gives us our first glimpse of how this season might turn out.

Utah football begins its stay in the Big 12 this week as it faces an opponent it will get to know quite well in the coming years.
The 11th-ranked Utes (1-0) host the Baylor Bears at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. Although both teams are now part of the Big 12, the game is not a conference game as it is the second leg of a home-and-away series that began at Baylor last season.
Utah, which was projected to win the Big 12 in the conference’s preseason poll, enters Saturday’s game 1-0 after beating Southern Utah 49-0 in Week 1 of the season last week. Behind quarterback Cameron Rising, who finished with 254 passing yards and five touchdowns in Week 1, the Utes climbed two spots from No. 13 in the US LBM Coaches Poll this week.
Like Utah, Baylor won its season opener against Tarleton State in Waco, Texas, last weekend. Bears wide receiver Ketron Jackson Jr. was the top receiver in the 45-3 win over Tarleton State with 69 receiving yards on two receptions and a touchdown.

Utah vs. Baylor will air nationally on Fox in Week 2 of the 2024 college football season. Jason Benetti and Brock Huard will provide commentary from the booth at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, while Allison Williams will report from the sidelines.
