The Nebraska Defense completely shut down Colorado offense on Saturday that didn’t allow the Buffaloes even a touchdown in the fourth quarter. The Huskers built a 28-0 halftime lead and allowed Colorado just 10 points the rest of the way, handing the Buffaloes a pretty humiliating loss in Lincoln.

Nebraska cornerback Tommi Hill had no problem talking to Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter during the game. Hill mentioned it in his postgame press conference on Saturday night. The Nebraska cornerback had a certain mindset going into the game against the Buffaloes.

“If he ran against me,” Hill said, “he would have been up against a dog.”

Hill made it clear to Hunter that he had every intention of arresting him on Saturday night.

“I told him nothing was going to be easy for him… I couldn’t get him out of my head in the first and second quarters. In the third quarter he didn’t talk to me at all,” Hill said in his postgame press conference. And even though the Huskers took the win, Hunter at least had a great night as an individual, making 10 catches for 110 receiving yards.

Hill had one of the most crucial plays of the night, a game-winning pick-six in the first quarter that gave the Huskers a 14-0 lead. With the Buffaloes boxed in their own end zone, Hill jumped the route, snatched the ball out of the air at the six-yard line and practically rolled into the end zone for a score.
