It’s the time of year when we eat crazy foods, scream during thrilling rides, and sing along to our favorite bands.
The Arizona State Fair is just around the corner and will celebrate its 140th anniversary in 2024. The fair begins on Friday, September 20th and runs through Sunday, October 27th. Visitors from all over the state are expected.
And who doesn’t like a good deal on a good time? The Arizona State Fair’s deals and discounts for veterans, children and other visitors can help you save on admission. To take advantage of these deals, purchase your tickets online. General admission is $15 for those ages 8 and up, while children 7 and under are free.
Here are all the deals and discounts for the 2024 Arizona State Fair.

Arizona State Fair 2024 wristbands, discounts and ticket offers
Feel-good Fridays: Bring 10 non-perishable food items to donate to St. Mary’s Food Bank and receive one free admission. Offer valid every Friday during the fair, except opening day, September 22. Bottled water, sodas, all baby foods, seasoning packets, ramen noodles and any items in glass containers will not be accepted.
When you will receive the offer: Fridays, September 29 and October 6, 13, 20 and 27, 12:00–18:00.
Taste of the fair: Try a little bit of everything the food vendors at the State Fair have to offer. With this deal, you can enjoy an array of treats for just $3 each.
When you will receive the offer: Fridays, September 27 and October 4, 11, 18 and 25, 12:00–18:00.
Unlimited ride wristbands: On Thursdays, you can ride all the rides at the fair by purchasing a wristband on-site for $50. Wristbands are sold between 12pm and 6pm and are valid until 8pm.
When you will receive the offer: Thursday, September 26th and October 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th.
Reading and driving: This annual program that combines education and fairground fun is back in 2024. Kids can read a book and earn a free ride. For detailed information, visit azstatefair.com/readandride.
When you will receive the offer: On all trade fair days.
Armed Forces Day: Veterans and active military members can receive up to four free tickets to the Arizona State Fair. Tickets can be purchased in advance through etix.com.
When you will receive the offer: 12pm-6pm, Friday, October 11th.
Arizona State Fair 2024
When: Friday, September 20th – Sunday, October 27th. On the opening weekend, the gates open at 4pm. After that, opening hours are Thursdays and Sundays from 12pm to 9pm and Fridays and Saturdays from 12pm to 10pm.
