PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Jason Kelce has made his “Monday Night Countdown” debuted before the San Francisco 49ers game against the New York Jets and went viral.

The recently retired center of the Philadelphia Eagles was forced to buy a shirt at the mall because he had left his travel bag in a truck before his trip to the west coast.

“It fits my belly now, I’ve lost a little weight, but my (expletive) still has issues,” Kelce said.

“The fact that a Hall of Fame center can shop at Lululemon is awesome, man. That’s a huge accomplishment,” said Ryan Clark, a former NFL safety and analyst for ESPN.

Kelce has officially joined ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown” in May, two months after retiring from the NFL after 13 seasons with the Eagles. Kelce will appear on the pregame show from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., which runs before Monday Night Football and during the regular season. He will also appear on the pregame show for ESPN’s wild card and divisional playoff games at halftime of each broadcast.

Kelce doesn’t have to travel far for work next week.

The Eagles host the Atlanta Falcons next Monday in their home opener at Lincoln Financial Field, so if Kelce forgets a jersey again, he could run back to his house in Delaware County and get a new one.
