Jason Kelce divides his fans with a crude joke about “tits” in his first words as ESPN analyst – but brother Travis calls him “a natural talent”

Jason Kelce made a crude joke about his weight just minutes after his highly anticipated ESPN debut on Monday night.

He was introduced by host Scott Van Pelt, who revealed that Kelce had to buy a shirt at the mall for his television appearance today because he had misplaced his duffel bag.

“It fits my stomach now. I’ve lost a little weight, but my breasts are still having problems,” Kelce said.

Many fans found it funny, but others felt Kelce should be warned about his comments on live television.

“Yeah, he needs to get his act together,” said one fan on X, apparently in response to Kelce’s start.

Another said: “It’s not a big deal. He should be more careful next time.”

Another viewer thought Jason’s start was brilliant, writing, “Okay, Jason Kelce said tits within minutes of his Monday Night Football appearance. To be clear, he meant his own. Salut King.”

And another viewer who didn’t take offense was his younger brother Travis, who tweeted about his brother: “What a natural talent!!”

Kelce reacted to the viral moment on X when a fan asked him, “Jason, can you say ‘t**s’ on TV?”

He said, “I don’t know, did they beep it?”

Revealing that Kelce had some last-minute fashion drama ahead of his television debut, Van Pelt told viewers, “We’re thrilled to have the six-time NFL first-team All-Pro and future Gold Jacket winner join us. Plus, he has a podcast that seems to be doing pretty well.”

“And yet Jason Kelce is wearing a shirt he bought at the mall because he left his duffel bag in the truck. He left the duffel bag in the truck.”

And when Kelce made his joke about his performance, Van Pelt looked at the camera, laughing and almost shrugging his shoulders, arms outstretched.

Travis later commented on his brother’s clothing via X, writing, “Surprised he bought something new and didn’t just walk around shirtless.”

But despite his controversial start, Kelce settled in well at ESPN and fans ultimately agreed with Travis and called him a natural talent.
