Jason Kelce did not disappoint with his Monday Night Football Debut.

During the Monday, Sept. 9, broadcast, Kelce, 36, revealed a wardrobe malfunction before the San Francisco 49ers’ game against the New York Jets at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clarita, Calif. The 49ers defeated the Jets 32-19.

After listing Kelce’s accomplishments – including winning a Super Bowl and co-hosting a successful podcast – New heights with brother Travis Kelce – Scott Van Pelt told viewers that the former Philadelphia Eagles star was wearing a shirt he had purchased earlier in the day at the mall.

“Yet Jason Kelce is wearing a shirt he bought at the mall because he left his duffel bag in the truck,” Van Pelt said.

“Now it fits my stomach. I’ve lost a little weight, but my tits are still a problem,” Jason replied.

His colleague Ryan Clark responded: “The fact that a Hall of Fame center can shop at LuluLemon. That’s awesome, man. That’s a huge accomplishment.”

ESPN shared the clip on Instagram and encouraged fans of the former Eagles player, including Jason’s brother, to join in on the joke.

“I’m surprised he even bought a new one and didn’t just walk around shirtless,” Travis wrote, referring to Kelce, who cheered on the Kansas City Chiefs shirtless at a playoff game in January.

The brothers’ podcast Instagram account also commented, alluding to an earlier joke about Jason forgetting another piece of clothing.

“Why didn’t Jason bring a shirt for Jason?” it said in the New heights Comment.

The cheeky comment from the podcast follows the viral moment in which Jason and Travis discussed Jason’s appearance on Kelce Premiere – the documentary about his 2022-23 season.

In the September 13, 2023 podcast episode, Jason reminded his 34-year-old brother that he was dressing too casually because his wife Kylie was “running late” and wanted to “bring the jeans.”

But Travis quickly replied, “Why didn’t Jason bring jeans for Jason?”

Jason then tried to recover but relented and said: “I realise now that I can’t blame Kylie for this.”

Before Kelces MNF During his debut at Disney Media Day on August 28, he joked with an ESPN executive about whether he would have to wear a suit during the broadcast.

“I’m usually very concerned about what I wear unless I’m in a professional setting or my image is representative of another company,” he said. “I wear what’s comfortable, what I think is functional, it’s something I want to wear because it’s really easy to put on.”
