The business landscape in Lansing is constantly changing. For example, we recently talked about a new sandwich shop that just opened near Frandor. Now we have another new business coming.

I came across this announcement in a local Facebook group in Lansing and followed the trail to the source.

It turns out Lansing is getting another restaurant! But not just any old restaurant…

Lansing gets a new Italian restaurant

REO Town welcomes the REO Town Clubhouse, located in the former Ellison Brewery and Event Space (which closed in December 2023) at 1314 South Washington Avenue.

REO Town Clubhouse is a restaurant that aims to offer “a unique blend of authentic Italian cuisine, lively entertainment and stylish event spaces.”

Guests can enjoy a wide selection of Italian dishes as well as craft beers, cocktails and wine.

For now, the announcement simply states, “Stay tuned” for more news on the grand opening coming soon, but an exact opening date has not been given.

If you’re looking for more fun nightlife activities (and miss the former piano dueling club Rum Runners), you’re in luck! REO Town Clubhouse is also planning to expand its repertoire with fun activities. We can look forward to piano dueling, billiards, and the game on the big screen.
