After closure of Deutsch Schützen: Lagerhaus opened a converted branch in Kulm

The Lagerhaus Südburgenland has combined its Kulm and Deutsch Schützen branches to form the “Lagerhaus Pinkatal”.

KULM. The Lagerhaus Südburgenland has revamped its branch structure in recent months. The branches in German Shooters, St. Michael and Kukmirn Closed at the end of June, the locations Kulm and Guessing instead expanded.

Economic reasons

The purpose of the concentration is to remain profitable, to maintain efficient branches, to continue to cover all agricultural sectors and to be able to offer farmers more advice and support, explained Lagerhaus chairman John Weber at the opening of the remodeled branch in Kulm.

German Shooting closed

The fact that it is now called “Pinkal” is related to the closure of Deutsch Schützen. In the wine-growing region of Eisenberg, the discontent about this measure was particularly loud. All the goods necessary for wine-growing are now gathered in Kulm.

Comprehensive range

200 square metres of sales area are available here, explains the managing director Philipp MagditsIn addition to winegrowing, the company also serves the fields of arable farming, dairy farming, home and garden, a wine laboratory, a supplies warehouse and a drinks market. The warehouse workshop, however, was relocated from Kulm to the Güssing branch.

The company premises have remained unchanged. According to Magdits, around 5,000 tons of grain and around 1,000 tons of fertilizer are handled in the hall and silo every year.

The Lagerhaus Südburgenland has invested 70,000 euros in the renovation in Kulm. The branch is managed by Franz Richter and Andreas Stubits.
